After your morning coffee, you’ll be expected to...

  • Research, locate, define and target key business prospects.
  • Work with customers to provide feedback to Distribution Partners development teams for new content and products.
  • Establish and nurture relationships that fill business pipeline with prospective partners and customers.
  • Planning and preparing presentations
  • Negotiate new partnerships and business alliances; work closely with legal (Kai and Ari and partner’s legal teams) to write and close contracts for new business partnerships
  • Create business development strategies; identify roadblocks and drive new business from conception through closure.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing collateral
  • Writing reports
  • Providing management with feedback

What you bring:

  • 5 years experience in a Business Development Role
  • 2 years experience in a Director level or other leading Business Development Role (VP, EVP, Senior Director, Director, Senior Manager, Head of etc…)
  • Experience selling in a technical or platform  context (with an element of integration requirements)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Market knowledge (either Browsers, OEMs, AntiVirus, IOT Solutions or related field that we may want to sell into)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Sugar, RightNow, etc...), Ticketing Systems (e.g. JIRA, Trello, etc…), Knowledge Sharing Systems (e.g. Confluence, Hub, Sharepoint, etc...) 
  • Proficiency in English (ideal other languages, but nice to have: Mandarin or German)
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
