eyeo Mentoring Sessions
At eyeo, we are very proud of our diverse team. We come from more than 30 different nationalities and work in nearly as many places. Some of us are married, some to the same sex, some would never get married but are single moms in leadership positions.
We are committed to being an equal opportunity employer and want to support women, LGBTIQ and people of color to build successful careers in the tech industry. This is why we have decided to host informal mentoring sessions for those who are typically underrepresented in the tech industry.
Our first session will be devoted to the topic of job interviews in tech. You have questions regarding interview prep? Topics like salary or work-life-balance, or how to follow-up after an interview? Bring them to our session!
Our mentor for this session is Dr. Laura Sophie Dornheim, eyeo’s Head of Communications. Laura studied business informatics and has almost 20 years of experience working in various roles in the tech industry. During her career, she has conducted more than 100 job interviews and has been responsible for evaluating and hiring candidates. In her current position, Laura manages an international team of communications experts and consults eyeo leadership on diversity topics.
This first mentoring session will be set-up as a videoconference so you can easily join from wherever you are. It will take place on Monday, February 3rd from 12:30 to 2pm. As it’s lunchtime, feel free to have your lunch during our conversation.
To join this session, please send an email mentoring@eyeo.com with a brief statement as to why you would like to join this session and what questions you hope to get answered. To be able to have meaningful conversations, we limit the number of participants to six people.
Last but not least: There are no costs or obligations whatsoever for you and we won’t use any of your personal data for anything else!
(Though of course we are always happy about applications from great people.)
